I stole this picture from the internet

For the past few weeks Ive been getting granola bars from Atwater’s Bakery at the Dupont Farmers Market. But today I decided to make my own. After some research, I devised my own recipe:

Combine and bake til brown in buttered 9×13 pan (12-ish minutes):

2-ish cups of old-fashioned oats
1-ish cup mixed nuts (I used slivered almonds, pepitas, pecans and sunflower seeds)
1/4-ish cup coconut

Pour into a bowl and add:

1.5-ish cups dried fig and date (put in blender with some corn oil)
a palmful of flax seeds
some cinnamon and nutmeg
a good amount of honey
some kosher salt (and some lavendar salt)

Smash on parchment paper in baking pan and bake at 300 for, oh, 25 minutes
